ABOUT THE BAND

ALAN – I’ve had very little formal training in music. I played tuba as a youth in our high school band. As I got older, I used to write songs for children and songs about animals. I am known for singing to my dog.

Family Moments gave me the opportunity to sit down an make my music into something I could share. Writing the album was a scary experience. Since I had written my dad's song first, I wasn’t sure if it was luck or if I could pull off and entire album. It took five months to complete the project. A labor of love I will never forget.

So who am I? Just a guy who set out to tell the world what most people already know. Family is the one thing that really matters.

DM GREMLIN – DM is the man behind the man. Formally trained, he helped me to make the album you are reading about today. A humble man, he is really a genius.

Although he is an artist, he allowed me the latitude to write and express myself without interference.

The words and music are all mine. The arrangement is a collaborative effort that relied heavily on him. The production is all his.

DM sings much of the background vocals and plays many of the instruments. I love the guitar solos.

ANNA MARIE STAFFORD - Anna Marie is a model, a musician and my friend. She has a masters in music with an emphasis on violin. When I told her about my project, she rolled up her sleeves and was there.

The violin solos added a unique beauty to several of the songs. Anna Marie has an uncanny ability to listen and contribute. She added a dimension that helped to make the music work.

JENESSA NOLAND – Jenessa is a trumpet player by trade, but jumped into singing backup as well.

Although not extensively trained herself, she can be heard playing trumpet, singing backup and whistling the melody in the song Growing Up. While everyone was important, he trumpet and voice made the album a reality.
